It built its following as a pop-up before settling into the Lincoln Street address, and now holds a 4.8-star rating across 127 reviews, with regulars calling it a "cool corner spot" with staff who are "so welcoming."

The chai is the whole point: masala chai brewed with cardamom, ginger, and a house spice blend, alongside a ginger chai and a cardamom coffee for anyone who wants a jolt without the milk tea. None of it touches alcohol — this is a tea-and-coffee counter first, with brass service pieces and clay cups nodding to Mumbai's chai stalls rather than a cafe styled after a bar.

What makes the address unusual is who else pours there: Sen Kava, a botanical kava bar, runs its own alcohol-free program out of the same Lincoln Street space, serving noble kava blended with ceremonial cacao and functional herbs. The two have partnered directly on events, including a June 2025 "Decompression Session" co-hosted with AFTRCare and Anova Collective and a separate kava tasting night, turning the storefront into a de facto alcohol-free social hub in New Center rather than just a chai counter.
