Non-Alcoholic Cocktail Bars in Albuquerque, NM

Craft cocktail bars and lounges in Albuquerque that take their non-alcoholic program seriously. Albuquerque's alcohol-free drinking grew up around Old Town and the Sawmill District, and its best room does not use the word mocktail at all. Lost Cultures Tea Bar builds cocktails out of tea — an Ancient Fashioned of pu'erh, sugar, orange bitters and wood smoke, a Smokey Rose on lapsang souchong with grapefruit, lemon and rose syrup, a chamomile paloma — and owner Ryan Brown says people thank him twice a week for providing a completely non-alcoholic space. UrbanMama505 brews kombucha and pours it as flights in a cement-block building on Central. Electric Playhouse serves Cocowatts and Nebula inside an immersive projection space that is genuinely all-ages. On the licensed side, TEN 3 sits at the top of the Sandia Peak tramway pouring On Mountain Thyme, Campo at Los Poblanos works from its own organic farm and lavender fields, and M'tucci's Bar Roma makes shrub mocktails on pineapple-rosemary and blueberry-raspberry. Two closures to note: Pureland Kava, the city's first full kava bar, is permanently closed, and the Luxe Lounge mocktail parlour on Old Town Plaza no longer returns a listing.

What separates a good NA cocktail bar from the rest?

A great non-alcoholic cocktail bar isn't defined by whether it stocks Seedlip on the shelf. It's defined by whether the bartenders treat alcohol-free drinks as cocktails — built with the same logic, the same balance, the same care for mouthfeel and presentation as the alcoholic side of the menu.

The signal: a printed NA section on the menu with named drinks, an NA-spirits row on the back bar (Lyre's, Seedlip, Wilderton, Ritual, sometimes Monday Zero Alcohol Gin or Wilderton Lustre), house-made shrubs and bitters available for NA builds, and staff who can talk through what's in a drink without defaulting to "we can do something with juice."

The opposite: a generic "mocktail" line item priced at $8 with no description, or worse, a Shirley Temple by default. We rank cocktail-style venues here by NA Program Strength and lead with the venues that have published named NA drinks on their menu.
