Sober Nightlife
Where to go out late without drinking. Every room here does two things: it keeps a strong zero-proof list — or serves no alcohol at all — and it stays open past midnight. We have verified 510 of them across 65 cities, 144 of which serve no alcohol anywhere in the building, each checked by a person with the closing time we found.
This is a different list from our sober bars pages. Those cover every venue with a real non-alcoholic program whatever its hours; this one keeps only the ones still open when the night is actually happening, and orders them by how late you can stay.

50 cities have four or more late spots and get their own page; the rest link straight to the venue.
How to read these pages
“Sober nightlife” gets used two ways, and the pages keep them apart. Some rooms serve no alcohol at all — kava bars, alcohol-free cocktail bars, late-night coffeehouses — and those are marked plainly, because for anyone in recovery the difference between “no bar tab anywhere in the building” and “a bar with a great zero-proof list” is the whole question. The rest are licensed bars and lounges that have built a real non-alcoholic program: named drinks, real non-alcoholic spirits, a printed section, prices in line with the cocktails. Both belong on a night out; only you know which you want tonight.
Hours are the reason these pages exist. Our sober bars pages list every venue with a strong non-alcoholic program regardless of when it closes, which is the right answer to “where has good zero-proof drinks” and the wrong answer at 11.30pm. Here we keep only the rooms whose verified hours run past midnight on at least one night, and we order them by how late you can stay. The closing times come from each venue's live business listing and are re-synced every week, so “open until 2am” means it was true the last time we checked, not when the page was written — but do check the day before a special trip, since late hours are the first thing a bar trims.
What to order once you are there is on each venue's own page: the named drinks we read off its current menu, the non-alcoholic brands it stocks, and the date we last confirmed them.
