Rooted In Sanity is Madison's first and only kava lounge, tucked at the back of the SolEscape Healing Arts Building on Williamson Street — lower level, down the ramp, following a painted teal line. Nothing served contains alcohol. It pours traditional kava by the shell alongside housemade mocktails, locally made teas and a full craft coffee menu, and furnishes the room for staying rather than drinking up: swinging chairs, couches and board games at the tables.
