REH Liquids opened on Smith Street in Fitzroy as a female-founded boutique bottle shop, the work of a mother-and-daughter duo, Joelene and Charlotte. The name is 'HER' spelled backwards, a nod to Joelene's dyslexia, and the shop is built around championing locally made and female-led drink brands. It trades from a chic, pink-accented retail space at 59 Smith Street, in the heart of the Smith Street art and fashion precinct.

The curation is deliberately 100% Australian-made, and the non-alcoholic range is one of the shop's calling cards. Rather than the soda water and supermarket non-alcs customers often expect, REH stocks premium zero-proof wines, spirits and ready-to-pour cocktails from independent Aussie makers, positioning itself squarely within the 'moderation movement' of drinking better rather than simply more. Named products spotted in coverage include Quips raspberry-passionfruit ready-to-pour cocktails and CAPI mixers, sitting alongside a dedicated non-alc wine and spirits selection.

Beyond the shelves, REH functions as a community space. It has run a daily in-store Tasting Bar (5-7pm) so shoppers can sample the range, and hosts recurring 'Sip and Shop' events, including a two-day Female Founded Christmas Sip and Shop with Australian female-owned fashion, beauty and drink brands, cocktails, raffles and live music, with ticket proceeds donated to charity.
