Emily Tanski launched Fleurish in 2024 after exploring sober curiosity herself and discovering that Cleveland's dining and events scene offered a non-drinker almost nothing beyond soda and juice. The business is entirely alcohol-free. It provides zero-proof bartending for weddings, corporate functions and private parties, building bespoke menus of crafted non-alcoholic drinks and serving them with the presentation and equipment a full bar would get — the point being that nobody at the party is holding a plastic cup of cranberry juice while everyone else drinks from stemware. Because the service travels, it covers the whole metro rather than one neighbourhood, which matters in a region where the alcohol-free rooms are concentrated in two small clusters.

What makes Fleurish more than a caterer is its own programming. Santé is a sober supper club that pairs Cleveland chefs with non-alcoholic beverage pairings across several courses, staged at rotating venues around the city; Sober in the City is the fine-dining version of the same format, and both have drawn local coverage as a genuinely new fixture in the Cleveland food calendar rather than a Dry January novelty that disappears in February. Tanski's framing is that everyone deserves to raise a glass in style and nobody should feel left out of the toast, and the events are built for mixed tables — people not drinking and people who simply want the food — rather than as a recovery meeting with dinner attached. Her stated obstacle has been the stigma itself: the work is as much education as it is bartending.

Because Fleurish is mobile and event-driven there is no address to visit and no walk-in hours; dates are announced through Instagram and tickets sold per event. Its own domain is currently not resolving, so Instagram is the reliable channel. For anyone planning an alcohol-free wedding or party in Northeast Ohio, it is the established local operator.

The biggest challenge we've encountered so far has been educating people and addressing the stigma around choosing not to drink.
