Oddball opened in November 2025 at 188 Avenue B in the East Village (Alphabet City), in a roughly 1,100-square-foot former jazz bar redesigned into a retro-futurist space that blends 1970s cosmic nostalgia with diner Americana. The bar is led by beverage director Logan Rodriguez alongside partners LaTeisha Moore and Philip Reichenberger, and its debut menu pairs high-contrast ingredients into surprising combinations across drinks such as the Far Side (a margarita with fig-leaf tequila, cilantro, dill, pineapple and tomatillo brine) and the Infinite Loop (sesame and hazelnut gin, guava, whey brandy and white aperitif). Non-alcoholic drinks are a deliberate part of the program rather than a tacked-on list, made in-house with the same conceptual clarity and technical attention as the spirited cocktails. In January 2026, Time Out New York named Oddball among the city's best non-alcoholic bar programs, praising it as a newcomer that "stood out for its punchy, in-house-made NA drinks and cozy, slightly sci-fi bar vibe." The bar is open Wednesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and takes reservations via Resy while still welcoming walk-ins.
