19110 Old Detroit Rd, Rocky River, OH 44116
Tartine Bistro occupies a small house on Old Detroit Road in Rocky River, the lakefront suburb ten miles west of downtown, and has been the west side's reference French bistro for years — croissants and quiche at the front of the day, steak frites and the rest of the canon at dinner, and a Sunday brunch that fills the room. Service runs from midday Tuesday through Saturday, which makes it one of the few kitchens on this list open across a long afternoon rather than only from 4pm.
The non-alcoholic drinks are the work of a bar that treats them seasonally, and both current builds are $13 — the same territory as the cocktails, which is the honest test of whether a kitchen means it. The Petit Autumn layers cider with vanilla, maple, ginger and cayenne, then finishes with apple butter and a bruléed apple, so it arrives warm-spiced and textured rather than sweet; the cayenne is doing the structural work, stopping the drink collapsing into dessert. Mon Petit Coeur is the more unusual of the two, built on an alcohol-removed red wine with apple cider, cinnamon and maple — effectively a zero-proof mulled wine served as a composed cocktail, and one of the very few uses of de-alcoholised wine as a base rather than simply poured by the glass anywhere in the Cleveland market.
The restaurant's general manager told Cleveland Magazine's 2026 mocktail roundup that a wellness focus has taken alcohol out of a growing share of guests' lives and that people appreciate having something made for them rather than being handed a soft-drink list. For a slightly formal dinner on the west side where part of the table is not drinking, Tartine is the strongest option outside the Lakewood cluster, and the only one with a French wine list running in parallel.
