The Daily Kitchen & Bar

The Daily Kitchen & Bar is a Richmond Restaurant Group restaurant in the Greengate Shopping Center on West Broad Street in Short Pump, in Henrico County. The group opened it in 2017 as the second Daily. The first, on West Cary Street in Carytown, closed in September 2026 after 13 years; the group owns that building and plans a new concept there. Short Pump is now the one place to find it.

It earns its place in this guide with a short but real mocktail list, printed on the same drinks menu as the cocktails. There are six: the Cucumber Cooler (basil, cucumber, lemongrass, coconut water and soda), the Passionfruit Lime Soda (mint, lime, passionfruit and soda), a Strawberry Limeade (strawberries, lime and soda), the Coco-Mo (mint, lime, coconut water and soda), the Shrub Club, a rotating daily shrub with club soda, and Blue Ridge Bucha ginger kombucha from Virginia. There are two non-alcoholic beers on the bottle and can list as well: Athletic Brewing, either the Hazy IPA or the Golden Ale, and Stella Liberte 0.0%.

None of this makes it a destination bar. It is a full-service restaurant where someone who is not drinking can order a drink that was made for them, at lunch, brunch or dinner, without asking for anything off the menu. All of the other Richmond rooms in this guide are in the city itself, most of them in Carytown, Scott's Addition and along Broad Street, so this is the listing to know on the west side of the metro.

Practical notes: lunch runs from 11am on weekdays, brunch from 10:30am on Saturday and Sunday, and dinner from 4pm to 9pm every day. There is a patio, open when the weather allows.
