Bars with Non-Alcoholic Beer in Phoenix, AZ
Where to order an NA beer in Phoenix without guessing: every venue below either lists non-alcoholic beer on a menu we've read, names a specific NA brand it carries, or is a brewery pouring its own. Draft is flagged only where the menu says so — cans and bottles are the norm.

Chef Angelo Sosa's modern Southwestern restaurant at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge runs a thoughtful non-alcoholic lineup alongside an agave-driven bar. Named zero-proof drinks include the Short & Spicy (aguachile, ginger, pineapple) and the Tall & Bubbly (prickly pear, hibiscus, sparkling apple cider), both drawing on the same desert-Southwest larder as the kitchen rather than defaulting to citrus and syrup. The non-alcoholic beer list reaches well past the usual single option, carrying Athletic Brewing's Upside Dawn and several Bravus Brewing beers — a rarity in resort dining, where the NA fridge is normally one lager nobody has checked the date on.

A fourth-floor cocktail bar above the Residence Inn/Courtyard in downtown Phoenix, Little Rituals was a James Beard Award semifinalist for Outstanding Bar Program in both 2024 and 2025 — and it treats its alcohol-free drinks with the same seriousness as the spirited list, with roughly 40 percent of the menu available without alcohol. Syrups, infusions and foams are all made in house, which is what separates these from sweetened juice. Named non-alcoholic builds include the N/A Paloma (spirit-free blanco tequila, seasonal grapefruit soda, key lime, sea salt), an N/A White Grapefruit and Koji Paloma, and the blackberry-lemon Big City Nights.

A gastropub in the middle of Old Town Scottsdale that has been trading since 2011 and passed its fifteenth anniversary in February 2026, Citizen Public House is best known locally for the Original Chopped Salad — and, less obviously, for treating its non-alcoholic list as part of the bar program rather than an afterthought. The spirit-free builds run on real NA spirits: the Gemini pairs Seedlip Grove 42 with butterfly pea flower tea, ginger syrup and lemon, and the Nojito works pressed mint, elderflower tea syrup, lime and soda. Phoenix New Times included it in its round-up of metro bars where alcohol-free drinks are actually printed on the menu.

A Biltmore-area New American restaurant and whiskey bar open since 2013, The Gladly pairs a serious beverage program — 350-plus whiskies and a James Beard-recognized kitchen — with a permanent, menu-printed 'Zero Proof' section. These are crafted non-alcoholic cocktails built on real NA spirits like Seedlip and Lyre's rather than a token mocktail: the Hellfire works Seedlip Grove 42 with blueberry puree, orgeat, citrus, ginger beer and cracked black pepper; A Botanist Walks Into a Bar uses jalapeno-infused Seedlip Garden; Truth or Consequences is built on Lyre's Italian Orange with strawberry and grapefruit oleo. Phoenix New Times has repeatedly named it a go-to for alcohol-free drinks that are actually printed on the menu.

The downtown Phoenix pub from one of Arizona's most acclaimed breweries — and one of the few anywhere that brews its own non-alcoholic beer rather than stocking someone else's. Arizona Wilderness released ARIZO[NA], billed as the state's first non-alcoholic IPA, with bright citrus, balanced bitterness and a snappy finish, and donates 2 percent of its sales to the Arizona Trail Association every year. The taproom also pours Wild Water, a zero-proof sparkling water hopped with El Dorado and Mosaic. Founded in 2013 by Jonathan Buford and Patrick Ware and named Best New Brewery in the World by RateBeer within months of opening, the company built its identity on water stewardship in a drought state — its slogan is "Drink Like You Care".

A beloved neighborhood brewery on N 24th Street in central Phoenix, Wren House is known for some of Arizona's best IPAs — its flagship hazy, Spellbinder, took a Gold Medal in the Juicy/Hazy IPA category at the 2020 Great American Beer Festival. It also brews a zero-proof Non-Alcoholic Spellbinder at 0.5% ABV, built on the same Citra, Mosaic and Cascade hops with increased kettle hopping for bitterness and a dialled-in dry-hop ratio aimed at tangerine citrus. Axios Phoenix named it among the local non-alcoholic beers worth seeking out for Dry January. Note that the standard Spellbinder is alcoholic — ask specifically for the NA version.

How we know a Phoenix bar has NA beer
Three kinds of evidence put a venue on this page, and each card says which. The strongest is a menu we've read: the exact beers, the price where the menu prints one, and the date we confirmed it. Next are breweries — a brewery is in this directory because it pours non-alcoholic beer, often its own. Last are venues whose own menu or copy names a specific NA brand they carry. Nothing here is inferred from a review or a vague “great NA selection”.
“Non-alcoholic” is a legal band, not a promise of zero: under 0.5% ABV in the US, with “alcohol-free” reserved for 0.0%. The big lagers (Heineken 0.0, Guinness 0.0) are labeled 0.0%; most craft NA beers sit somewhere under 0.5%. We name the brand wherever the venue does so you can check the label that matters to you.
Draft NA beer is spreading but still uncommon, so we never assume it. A pour is marked “on draft” only when the venue's menu says tap or draft; everything else should be read as cans or bottles.
Frequently asked about non-alcoholic beer in Phoenix
We've verified 6 places in Phoenix with non-alcoholic beer: Tía Carmen, Little Rituals, Citizen Public House and more below. 4 list it on a menu we've read line by line; the rest are breweries, or venues that name a specific NA beer brand they carry. Every listing shows when we last checked.
Usually not quite. In the US, beer labeled "non-alcoholic" must be under 0.5% ABV — a trace level also found in some ripe fruit and kombucha — while "alcohol-free" means 0.0%. Most craft NA beers (Athletic, Best Day, Untitled Art) sit between 0.0% and 0.5%; Heineken 0.0 and Guinness 0.0 are labeled 0.0%. Rules differ abroad: in the UK "alcohol-free" is 0.05% or under and "de-alcoholised" up to 0.5%. If you avoid alcohol entirely, look for a 0.0% label — we name the brand wherever the venue does, so you can check.
Draft NA beer is still the exception: most bars serve it in cans or bottles, and that is what to expect. We flag "on draft" only when a venue's own menu says tap or draft — none of the current Phoenix listings has a menu-confirmed draft pour yet. If a listing doesn't say draft, assume packaged.
On the Phoenix menus and listings we've verified, the most-carried brands are Athletic Brewing (2 venues), Heineken 0.0 (2 venues), Bravus Brewing (1 venue). Each brand on this page links to everywhere else it is poured.
