Heineken 0.0 is the alcohol-free lager from HEINEKEN, the Amsterdam-founded brewer behind the flagship Heineken Original. It launched in the Netherlands in May 2017 after roughly two years of development, then expanded across Europe and reached the United States in early 2019. It is brewed in the Netherlands using the same core ingredients as regular Heineken — water, malted barley, hop extracts and Heineken's proprietary A-yeast — then blended with natural flavorings.

The beer is "double brewed": after fermentation the alcohol is gently removed (the brand describes vacuum distillation) and the brew is balanced with natural flavors to recover the taste lost when the alcohol is stripped out. The result is a maximum 0.03% ABV (marketed as 0.0%) and about 69 calories per 330ml bottle, making it one of the most widely distributed non-alcoholic beers in the world.

The line has since expanded beyond the original lager. Heineken 0.0 Ultimate, rolled out in the U.S. in 2026 after a 2025 pilot, is positioned as a zero-alcohol, zero-sugar, zero-calorie ("triple zero") option, and the brand introduced flavored extensions Cold Pressed Lime and Nectarine Juniper.

Martini Corner

Bar
★★★★?·3 NA brands

Cliff's Taphouse is a neighborhood bar and restaurant in Kansas City's Martini Corner, opened in 2021 by Larry Kime, a former manager of the South Plaza institution Nick & Jake's. It took over the former Ollie's Local space at 3044 Gillham Road, leaning on a dozen-plus local taps, scratch American food, and a deliberately inclusive, family-style atmosphere — the name honors a Chicago beat cop who "welcomed all into his world." Though best known for fully-leaded craft beer dinners, the bar keeps a standing, clearly-labeled non-alcoholic section: Athletic Brewing IPA and Hazy IPA, Boulevard Quirk Superfruit N/A, Guinness 0, Heineken 0.0, Paulaner Weizen Radler, and Border Baseline Pale Ale, mostly $6–$7. Several house cocktails — Eva's Bourbon Berry Smash, Bucky's Botanicals, and Chan's Brew — can be made as mocktails on request.
