Bait Shop is a long-running Capitol Hill bar at the north end of Broadway, themed as a kitschy combination of a lakeside tackle shop and a tiki hangout, best known for its frozen cocktails and "world-famous" fries. The colorful, nautical room is a neighborhood staple for casual, fun drinking.
For non-drinkers, the bar keeps a genuinely usable lineup: Athletic Brewing non-alcoholic beers, a spirit-free Phony Negroni, and a bar team that will turn many of its standard cocktails into non-alcoholic versions on request.
