Gracias Madre is a destination vegan Mexican restaurant on a leafy stretch of Melrose Avenue, serving organic, plant-based takes on Mexican classics from a former antique emporium with whitewashed brick, exposed beams and a tree-shaded patio. Alongside its well-known agave-spirit bar, the drinks list carries a dedicated spirit-free "On the Wagon" section led by the Michelada Sin Cerveza, made with habanero bitters, jalapeno-basil ice and Whalebird dry-hopped grapefruit kombucha.
