Kavana Kava Bar occupies Suite 102 at 3890 SW 64th Ave in Davie, in Broward County. It traded as Bula Lounge Kava Bar at the same address before adopting the Kavana name, and a stale listing for the old name — marked closed — still exists elsewhere online for the same street address; the business itself is open, and was confirmed trading through its own live ordering system on 31 July 2026. It is one of several Kavana sites across South Florida, alongside a separate Dania Beach location; each is its own room and they should not be read as interchangeable.

The drink program is built around kava, kratom and tea, with nothing else on it. Kava drinks sit under "Root Specialties" and step up in strength through the Stunner, the T.K.O and the Knock-Out; the house Bulazos, a holdover name from the Bula Lounge era, is promoted on the venue's own Instagram. The "Kraymyx" section is kratom, sold as concentrated extract shots and a bottled extract to take away rather than as brewed leaf tea. Two caveats belong on this listing. The venue has never stated in its own materials that it is alcohol-free — no alcoholic item appears on any published menu, which is a narrower and better-evidenced claim, and the question is worth asking directly if it matters to you. And the psychoactives are not incidental: kava is sedating and has documented liver-injury case reports, kratom acts on opioid receptors and carries real dependence and withdrawal risk, and Florida restricts kratom sales to over-21s. For anyone in recovery, that makes this a different proposition from an alcohol-free cafe.
