Mirador occupies the top-floor penthouse of the building that housed luxury retailer Forty Five Ten at 1608 Elm Street, in Downtown Dallas' Main Street District. The restaurant closed during the pandemic and reopened in December 2023, repositioning away from dinner service toward brunch, lunch and a signature afternoon tea in its lofty, light-filled dining room.

For 2026, Mirador leaned into wellness with a health-conscious menu refresh — crudo, a farro bowl, lobster Cobb salad and chicken paillard — anchored by a trio of refreshing spirit-free mocktails. DiningOut's Dry January guide singled out the Main Squeeze (passion fruit, coconut, orgeat and citrus, finished with a splash of Topo Chico), the Citrus Sparkler (a bright blend of berry cordial, citrus and mint kept fizzy with mineral water), and the standout Smoked Milk Tea, which layers Fujian Province smoked lapsang souchong with creamy coconut milk, rosemary honey, strawberry and lime.

Mirador is open Tuesday through Saturday for lunch and afternoon tea and closed Sundays and Mondays; a sister location, Café Mirador, opened in Fort Worth's Cultural District in March 2026.
