Juniper's Gin Bar

Juniper's occupies Suite 100 of the historic John R. Green Building at 409 West 6th Street, on the promenade of Covington's MainStrasse Village, across from the Goose Girl Fountain. The vintage-inspired room is steeped in local history, dressed with antique furnishings and candelabras for a speakeasy feel. Gin is the centerpiece: the bar keeps a collection it bills as "230+ gins and counting," paired with a rotating, monthly-changing tapas menu of globally inspired small plates. Live jazz fills the room on Friday and Saturday nights, there's a Wednesday jazz jam, and Sunday brings an elevated brunch.

For non-drinkers, Juniper's does something most gin bars don't — it prints a dedicated alcohol-free section on the drinks menu, cheekily titled "School Night." The house-made NA liqueur signals real kitchen effort rather than a token substitution, and the section gives sober and sober-curious guests a named menu to order from instead of asking the bartender to improvise.
