Marcelino's Boutique Bar sits on West Exchange Street in downtown Providence, part of a small Mediterranean group with rooms in Boston and the Seaport. It is a craft cocktail bar first — the bartenders make their own infused spirits, house syrups and dehydrated citrus and fruit garnishes rather than buying them in — and the reason it belongs on this list is that the non-alcoholic drinks are made inside that same process rather than beside it.

The mocktail section is unusually deep for a Rhode Island bar, and unusually consistent in its approach: it is built almost entirely on the Lyre's range of non-alcoholic spirits rather than on fruit juice. That matters because Lyre's products are engineered to carry the bitterness, heat and aromatic length that a spirit provides, so the resulting drinks have structure rather than just flavour. The list runs across the categories — a rum-style build with mint, lime and ginger beer; a gin-style one with strawberry, berry tea, milk and citrus; a bittersweet aperitif build combining a rosso aperitif with an Italian bitter, ginger and tonic; and a coffee build using a non-alcoholic dark cane and coffee liqueur with fresh espresso. There is also a batched non-alcoholic negroni infused with strawberries, dried citrus and thyme, which is the sort of thing that only exists where somebody has decided the alcohol-free list deserves prep time.

We have not published the individual drink names and prices here, and that is deliberate. Marcelino's publishes its menus only as PDFs that do not render as text, so while the shape and ingredients of the programme are well documented across Rhode Island coverage, we could not confirm the current list against the bar's own live menu. The programme is real; the specific names may have moved. Ask at the bar, and note the group runs separate menus in Boston and the Seaport, so a list you have seen elsewhere may not be the Providence one.
