Maya Moon Cacao Lounge is an alcohol-free ceremonial-cacao concept that opened in May 2025 inside GOODONYA, the long-running organic eatery on South Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas. A North County outpost of Maya Moon Collective — founded by Kathryn Rogers, whose Normal Heights café bills itself as Southern California's first ceremonial-cacao café — its draw is a rotating set of signature herbal cacao blends, drinking-cacao tasting flights, adaptogenic drinks, handcrafted truffles, and house honey marshmallows, a genuine zero-proof, ritual-forward experience. Note that the host GOODONYA also serves natural wine, prosecco, and local beer alongside an alcohol-free "social tonic" menu, so the dry experience here is the cacao program rather than the whole building.
