Featured on: Best Sober Date Night Spots in Boston

Nautilus Pier 4 opened in spring 2021 as the mainland version of The Nautilus, the Nantucket restaurant known for Asian-influenced seafood and a bar that takes itself seriously without being solemn. The Boston room sits at 300 Pier 4 Boulevard, right on the water in the Seaport, and runs dinner every night with an additional weekend lunch service. The food is raw bar, crudo, dumplings and shared plates; the drinks list is organised into house sections with names like Nauti Standards and O.G. Nauti Creations, and includes porrons, the Basque glass pitchers poured directly into the mouth, for tables that want a spectacle.

The non-alcoholic block has its own heading, Don't Mock It 'Til You Try It, with the subtitle N/A bevies for the sober curious, and it sits on the same page as the beer and seltzer rather than being hidden at the back. There are three named drinks, all $13, which is a dollar or two under the house cocktails. G+G is guava, grapefruit, citrus and soda. Pineapple Express is pineapple with a ginger soda the bar makes in house, plus lime. Thai Herb Swing is watermelon, Thai herbs, lime and soda, and is the one that reads most clearly as a designed drink rather than a spritz. Cold brew on draft, roasted locally at Atomic Coffee, is listed at $7 in the same block, which is a sensible thing to have on a menu at a restaurant whose last seating is at 10pm. Meet Boston included the restaurant in its January 2026 zero-proof guide, and Boston.com had already picked out the G+G in its January 2024 round-up of where to order non-alcoholic drinks in the city. Boston magazine published a first look at the Pier 4 menu in March 2021, the week the restaurant opened. Weekend lunch runs from noon with a last seating at 2.45pm and dinner starts at 5pm every day, so the alcohol-free block is available across both services.
