Prima Dopo opened in January 2023 at 1724 Thames Street in Fells Point, from restaurateur Dominic Lascola, in a building with a working past — dating to the 1800s, the property was once a barn that stabled horses and later garaged cars, and it sits between Thames Street Oyster House and The Daily Grind on one of Baltimore's most walked waterfront blocks. It calls itself a cucina and cocktail house, and the hours back that up: it serves until midnight early in the week and until 2am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, which makes it one of the few kitchens in the city still cooking properly late. The menu runs crab toast with garlic herb butter at $18, meatballs with lemon whipped ricotta and pistachio at $18, a spicy salami pizza with hot honey at $26, spaghetti carbonara at $28 and a table-side chicken parm at $32.

The non-alcoholic drinks sit under a printed "Mocktails" heading and all three are $12 — the same as the low end of the cocktail list rather than priced as soft drinks. Two are built on Seedlip and one is not, which gives the list more range than three drinks usually manages. My Cousin Dill uses Seedlip Grove 42, the citrus expression, with cucumber purée, lemon, agave, dill and soda; The Baltimore Banner picked it out as a refreshing take when it surveyed the city's mocktails, and it is the one to order with something rich. Le Moxie works Seedlip Spice 94 against strawberry purée with lemon, agave, rosemary and ginger ale — warmer and more aromatic. Cafe Kinda Dopo is the after-dinner option, a cold brew built with brown sugar simple syrup and oat milk, and it is genuinely vegan rather than incidentally so. The menu is current as of August 2026. Note the restaurant adds a 3% fee to card payments, removed if you pay cash, and a 20% gratuity to parties of eight or more.
