706 De Mun Ave., Clayton, MO 63105
Sasha's Wine Bar has poured for the DeMun neighborhood of Clayton for more than two decades, growing into a small St. Louis wine-bar family that includes Sasha's on Shaw, the casual sister spot Barrio down the block, and the intimate Cellar Bar upstairs on DeMun, open Wednesday through Saturday evenings. The original De Mun Avenue room remains the flagship: a cozy, all-day neighborhood hangout that opens at 11am daily and serves until well past midnight, with a showcased cellar of more than 4,200 bottles behind a long by-the-glass list.
The zero-proof program dates back years and is verifiably current. In January 2023, Sauce Magazine reported that certified sommelier and programs coordinator Denise Mueller had added a rotating selection of zero-proof wine across the group, and the DeMun menu dated June 2026 confirms the rotation continues: a Non-Alcoholic Wines section lists NoZeco sparkling brut by the glass or bottle, Giesen alcohol-removed Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, and three Leitz cans — Eins Zwei Zero sparkling Riesling, Eins Zwei Zero sparkling rosé, and Zero Point Five Pinot Noir. A separate N/A Cocktails section carries Shacksbury's Mountain Tonic, the St. Agrestis Phony Negroni, Parch's agave-based Desert Margarita, and a house-assembled N/A Spritz built from non-alcoholic aperitivo and alcohol-free sparkling wine, while the beer list ends with Athletic Brewing's Golden Ale and Best Day's hazy non-alcoholic IPA.
Sauce Magazine counted Sasha's among five St. Louis bars 'serving thoughtfully crafted nonalcoholic drinks,' and the DeMun room stays busy enough that reviewers recommend arriving early for a table or patio seat. Expect a lengthy wine list annotated for sustainable, organic, biodynamic, natural, and vegan bottles, a full food menu with weekend brunch, and a low-key, conversational atmosphere rather than a scene. For a sober or moderating guest, it is one of the rare old-guard wine bars in the region where you can order a zero-proof pour by the glass, a bottled NA cocktail, and an alcohol-free beer off the same printed menu, any night of the week.
