Cheeky & Dry is Seattle's first and only fully alcohol-free bottle shop, a family-owned Phinney Ridge store stocking hundreds of zero-proof spirits, wines, beers, aperitifs, RTDs and mixers, with an in-store tasting counter.

Founded in August 2023 by Joe Patterson and Grace Vroom, a husband-and-wife duo who have been alcohol-free since 2016, Dear Dry Drinkery was Austin's first dedicated non-alcoholic bottle shop. Originally launched as a mobile pop-up parked across from Bufalina on East Cesar Chavez, it grew into a brick-and-mortar location at 2226 E Cesar Chavez Street in mid-2023 and celebrated its one-year anniversary in August 2024. As of September 2025, Dear Dry Drinkery closed its physical storefront and now operates as a mobile and events-focused business, running mocktail mixology classes, in-store tastings at partner venues, and online sales. The curation reflects the founders' personal taste from their seven-plus years of sober living, with a strong emphasis on Austin-based non-alcoholic brands.

Good News Bar is San Diego's first dedicated 100% alcohol-free bar, opened in July 2025 in Hillcrest by married former bartenders Crystal and Kaylee Clark, who left drinking behind in recovery and built a daytime-to-evening venue with an integrated non-alcoholic bottle shop. By day it serves coffee, tea, functional cocktails, and pastries; by night it pours "functional" cocktails built around adaptogens, nootropics, nervines, kava, and hemp-derived CBD (mostly 0.0% ABV) alongside "free-spirited" cocktails (under 0.5% ABV) that reimagine classics with non-alcoholic spirits, plus dealcoholized wines and NA beers. Signature zero-proof drinks include The Merry Go Round, The Woods, Deborah Downer, and Goosebumpz. It's an inclusive, sober and sober-curious space with trivia, live music, and DJ nights.

Killjoy is Nashville's first booze-free beverage shop, founded by Stephanie Styll, who stopped drinking at the end of 2020. It launched in 2023 as a hidden 200-square-foot space in Wedgewood-Houston before relocating in November 2024 to a storefront in The Shoppes on Fatherland in East Nashville. The shelves are entirely alcohol-free: NA beer, still and sparkling wine, zero-proof spirits, ready-to-drink cocktails, plus kava, adaptogens, and THC/CBD drinks, with a knowledgeable team to guide customers through the selection. Confirmed brands on its own store include Athletic Brewing, Best Day Brewing, Go Brewing, Untitled Art, Dromme, and Prima Pavé. Killjoy was named among the country's top nonalcoholic bottle shops by Wine Enthusiast, and Styll won a NEXT Award from the Nashville Entrepreneur Center in 2024. It runs frequent Dry January tastings and sober-social events.

Killjoy Berry Hill is the second location of Killjoy, the alcohol-free bottle shop founded by Stephanie Styll, who stopped drinking in 2020 and launched the business in 2023. After starting as a Wedgewood-Houston pop-up and opening a retail store in East Nashville, Styll expanded to Berry Hill — the neighborhood where the idea began — opening this roughly 1,000-square-foot shop in October 2025. Like the East Nashville store, it sells exclusively non-alcoholic beer, wine, spirits, and functional beverages (including adaptogenic, THC/CBD, and herbal drinks), and offers on-site sampling so customers can taste before buying. Killjoy bills itself as Nashville's first booze-free beverage shop and, per Styll, the only alcohol-free retail business of its kind in the city. The shop's stated mission is to help change the culture around drinking in Nashville.

Soberish is an alcohol-free bottle shop and wellness boutique in Atlanta's Kirkwood neighborhood, founded in August 2023 by real estate attorney and entrepreneur Mehrnush Saadat. Built around the idea that "sober" means something different to everyone, the shop curates a predominantly women-owned selection of non-alcoholic spirits, de-alcoholized wines, aperitifs, and zero-proof beer alongside cannabis and CBD wellness products, barware, and gifts. Saadat personally vets ingredients for natural, low-sugar quality, and the store leans heavily on education, hosting weekly Saturday tastings so guests can sample before buying. Confirmed brands on the shelves include St. Agrestis (Phony Negroni), Lyre's, De Soi, Figlia, and Best Day Brewing. After celebrating its first anniversary in 2024, Soberish expanded with a second location at Serenbe in Chattahoochee Hills.

Axelrad is a Midtown Houston beer garden set in a century-old building on the corner of Alabama and Almeda, sharing a leafy, hammock-strewn patio with Luigi's Pizzeria. It's a casual, walk-in outdoor drinking spot known for live music, food trucks, and community events, welcoming families until its evening 21+ transition. Non-drinkers are well served: the standing drinks menu carries named mocktails like the Elderberry Spritz (Giffard Elderflower, lemon, Lagunitas Hoppy Refresher), the Jalapina Business (Giffard pineapple, mango, lime, jalapeño, mineral water), and the Briney Melon Refresher (watermelon, lime, mint, ginger beer). Blank Slate is a woman-owned neighborhood cocktail bar that opened in 2017 in Portland's Montavilla neighborhood, founded by longtime Portland bartender Kierre Van de Veere and Michael Irikawa. Set among lush plants, floral wallpaper, and a deep vinyl collection, it serves craft cocktails, beer, wine, and a seasonal small-plates menu. Its non-alcoholic program is genuine and built in-house: the menu's dedicated "Non-Alcoholic Cocktails" section runs about half a dozen drinks at $10, using house-made botanical syrups, house tea blends, coconut milk, vinegars, and rosewater rather than juice-and-soda shortcuts. Named zero-proof drinks include the Cat Nap N.A. (bitter botanical syrup, chamomile, sherry vinegar), Orange Dream Machine N.A. (orange, vanilla, rosewater, oat milk), Rose Darling N.A. Hop City Craft Beer & Wine is the Krog District (formerly Krog Street Market) outpost of the Atlanta beer-and-wine retailer founded by Kraig Torres in 2009. The location pairs a curated bottle shop with an adjacent full-service bar pouring dozens of rotating draft selections. For non-drinkers, the appeal is two-fold: the shop keeps a deep, dedicated non-alcoholic section, and the bar runs a dedicated N/A draft line that rotates between Untitled Art and Athletic Brewing. Loro Houston is an Asian smokehouse and bar in The Heights, a collaboration between James Beard Award winners Tyson Cole (chef of Uchi) and pitmaster Aaron Franklin (Franklin Barbecue), operated under the Uchi/Hai Hospitality group. The Heights location occupies a converted 1940s brick church, with a soaring dining room and an umbrella-dotted patio. The food pairs Southeast Asian flavors with post-oak-smoked meats and fish. For non-drinkers, Loro maintains a dedicated "Zero Proof" menu section rather than a token offering: house mocktails like the Strawberry Thai Basil Margarita (Ritual tequila alternative, lime, Thai basil), Spicy Cucumber (lime, yuzu, spicy agave), Ginger Cooler (yuzu, ginger beer), and Frozen Pink Lemonade, alongside packaged NA options including Best Day Brewing Kölsch and St. Agrestis Phony Negroni. Monkey's Tail is a Lindale Park neighborhood bar and cantina operated by Barrel of Monkeys Hospitality, the Houston group led by Jessie Gonzales. Known for Mexican-American comfort food (tacos, chips and queso, the Chango Burger) and a large dog-friendly patio, it also runs one of Houston's most-celebrated zero-proof programs: it won Best Mocktail List in the Houston Press Best of Houston 2025 awards. The "Free-Spirited" section of its beverage list features house-built drinks like the Tropi-Carajillo (espresso/cold-brew blend, fresh pineapple, baking spices, gomme syrup), the Penichill'n (Lyre's Highland Malt, salted honey, ginger, grapefruit, lemon, smoky tea), the Picka-Piña (pineapple, chamoy, Giffard grenadine, lime, dill pickle brine, Tajín), and the Viva Maracuyá (passion fruit, mango, tiki spices, lime). Opened in March 2025 as the nation's first non-alcoholic LGBTQ+ bar and cafe, Spark Social House runs a "1-for-1" menu where every handmade cocktail comes in both a full-proof and a zero-proof version.
