26 Station St, Chattanooga, TN 37408
Station Street is a single pedestrianised block on the Southside, between the Chattanooga Choo Choo and Main Street, and it holds a disproportionate share of the city's late-night drinking. The Boneyard is one of its anchors — a proper late bar, open to 1am most nights and 2am on Friday and Saturday.
The alcohol-free recommendation is a non-alcoholic paloma: grapefruit, lime and triple syrup, which is the right drink for the setting. A paloma is long, sour and slightly bitter from the grapefruit, so it holds up over an evening in a way that a sweeter build would not, and the bar will make other mocktails on request beyond it.
This is graded three rather than four, and the reason is the phrase "on request". This directory generally treats "we'll make you something without alcohol" as a strength-two answer and excludes it, because it puts the work on the customer and produces a different drink every time. The Boneyard clears the bar because there is a specific documented build it recommends by name — NOOGAtoday recorded it in the city's guide to non-alcoholic drinking — rather than only an offer to improvise. It is a modest programme honestly described.
What pushes it onto the list is geography. The Boneyard sits a few doors from 330 Main, the fully non-alcoholic kava bar and coffee house, and around the corner from Oddstory's taproom with its alcohol-free fridge. That cluster means the Southside is the one part of Chattanooga where a non-drinker can spend an entire evening moving between rooms rather than making do in one, which is a genuinely different experience from finding a single good venue.
Closed Tuesday. Doors at 5pm the rest of the week.
