Cobra is an Asian-American bar on South High Street in the Brewery District, opened in October 2023 by four owners — Alex Chen and Jack Bennett, who helped open Watershed Kitchen + Bar, and David Yee and Josh Spiers, both previously of Oddfellows. It bills itself as a "good night bar," pairing a cocktail programme built on Asian ingredients with handmade noodles served late. The non-alcoholic drinks are treated as an extension of that flavour perspective rather than a fallback: the Pool Float is a no-proof build that carries the serrano and cilantro notes of the bar's Above Ground Pool cocktail, and All Gas No Brakes is a no-proof boilermaker pairing Pathfinder's non-alcoholic amaro with a locally owned non-alcoholic IPA. Bar manager David Yee was one of the bartenders Forbes surveyed on 2025 drink trends.
Order: Pool Float (no-proof, serrano and cilantro) · All Gas No Brakes (no-proof boilermaker: Pathfinder NA amaro and NA IPA)
Hours: Mon 4pm-2am; Tue closed; Wed-Sun 4pm-2am

Law Bird is the Brewery District cocktail bar opened in November 2019 by married owners Annie Williams Pierce and Luke Pierce, both career bartenders; in 2017 Williams Pierce became the first woman to win the United States Bartenders Guild's Most Imaginative Bartender competition in London. The bar was a 2025 James Beard Foundation semifinalist for Outstanding Bar and has been named among the best bars in the United States by Food & Wine. Columbus Underground readers voted it the city's best non-alcoholic drink menu in the 2025 Best of Columbus poll. Roughly three new cocktail menus are released a year, each carrying named N/A cocktails alongside the full-proof list, and most specialty cocktails can be built without alcohol at a reduced price. Non-alcoholic beer comes from Athletic Brewing and Best Day.

Lincoln Social Rooftop is a Cameron Mitchell bar on the ninth floor of 711 North High Street in the Short North, with a retractable roof, a fire pit and skyline views. It is a 21-and-over room. The cocktail menu is organised into four bands — Bold & Boozy, Easy Drinking, Sessions: Low ABV and Classics — and one of them, headed Spiritless, is entirely non-alcoholic. That list runs eight deep and is built rather than poured: a Mean & Green of serrano, celery, agave, cilantro and lime; No Secrets, which combines Töst sparkling tea with Giffard aperitif and lemon; an Espresso & Tonic; and a Blueberry Iced Tea infused with earl grey. Alongside them sit Mionetto alcohol-removed sparkling by glass or bottle, Best Day Brewing's Electro Lime and Good Liar's Midwest IPA, the non-alcoholic beer brewed in Columbus.

Soul is the ground-floor bar and restaurant of Le Méridien Columbus, The Joseph, on North High Street in the Short North, open from 6am for breakfast through to late. Its cocktail programme is built around a research-led list called the Lost Cocktails of Columbus, which revives drinks tied to the city's own bar history — the Deshler, the Kahiki Coffee Grog and the Midwestern Negroni among them. A separate printed section headed ZERO-PROOF BEVERAGES carries four built drinks rather than a list of sodas: the Casablanca Fog and the Lawn Dart, both made with Garden Spirit, kiwi, kefir and agave; an Orange Blossom of Lyre's non-alcoholic gin with house orange cordial and New Orleans N/A bitters; and an Old Old Fashioned using Lyre's non-alcoholic whiskey with ginger and non-alcoholic orange bitters.
Order: Orange Blossom (Lyre's N/A gin, house orange cordial, New Orleans N/A bitters) · Old Old Fashioned (Lyre's N/A whiskey, ginger, N/A orange bitters) · Casablanca Fog (Garden Spirit, kiwi, kefir, agave)

How this page decides what counts
Three facts, all verified, all required. The venue has to rate at least 4 of 5 for its non-alcoholic program — a fully alcohol-free room, or a licensed venue with a strong named zero-proof list, the same floor our Columbus sober bars page uses. It has to be somewhere you can sit, so bottle shops are out. And its hours have to run past midnight on at least one night, which is what makes this a nightlife page rather than a second copy of the sober bars list: at that cut a restaurant with a good zero-proof menu drops out, and the bars, lounges, kava bars and late coffeehouses remain.
“No alcohol served” is written on a card only when the venue's own verified description says so — never inferred from a rating or a name. Everything else here is a bar with a real non-alcoholic program, and it is labelled as a bar. Hours are the venue's live listing, re-synced weekly; the drinks on each venue page were read off its current menu and carry the date we last confirmed them.
Questions people ask
Yes. We have verified 4 Columbus venues that both keep a strong zero-proof list and stay open past midnight on at least one night: Cobra, Law Bird, Lincoln Social Rooftop, Soul at The Joseph. The latest close we found is 2am.
None of the 4 listed here is a fully alcohol-free room; all are licensed venues with a strong, named zero-proof list. If "no bar tab anywhere in the building" is the requirement, check the city page for alcohol-free cafes and bottle shops that close earlier.
Every venue here closes after midnight on at least one night; the card for each shows the latest closing time and how many nights a week it applies. The list is ordered latest-first. Hours come from each venue's live business listing and are re-synced weekly — but late hours are the first thing a bar trims, so check the day before a special trip.
Order from the zero-proof list by name — every venue here has one, and each venue's own page lists the drinks we read off its current menu with ingredients and prices. A named drink built on a real non-alcoholic spirit (Seedlip, Lyre's, Ritual, Pathfinder and the like) is a different thing from a soda with fruit in it, and it is priced and served like a cocktail. If the list has changed since we checked, ask what the bar is making that week rather than for "a mocktail".
It is an honest one. The venues marked "no alcohol served" are rooms where nobody at the next table is drinking either, and for many people that is the only kind of night out that works. The licensed venues are bars — good ones for a non-drinker, but bars — and the page says so plainly rather than blurring the two. Choose by the label, not the name.
