Marcella's is Cameron Mitchell Restaurants' Italian dining room on North High Street in the Short North, across the street from The Guild House and Soul at The Joseph, and it prints its zero-proof drinks on the same beverage list as the cocktails. There are two built non-alcoholic cocktails: Strawberry Fields, made with Seedlip Citrus, strawberry and a lemon foam, and a Citrus Spritz of Lyre's Italian Orange lengthened with alcohol-removed sparkling wine — an alcohol-free reading of the Aperol spritz that is otherwise unavoidable on an Italian menu. A rotating Athletic Brewing non-alcoholic beer sits alongside them. The coffee list is genuinely part of the drinks offering rather than an afterthought, including Il Finto Espresso with vanilla and honey and an affogato of vanilla gelato drowned in hot espresso.

VASO is a rooftop lounge above Bridge Park in Dublin, at the north-western edge of the Columbus metro, serving Spanish-inspired tapas with skyline views over the Scioto. It took gold for Best Rooftop Dining in CityScene Magazine's 2025 Best of the 'Bus reader poll. The cocktail menu carries a dedicated no-proof section rather than a single token drink, and the builds use proper non-alcoholic spirits: Everybody Loves Juniper is made with Lyre's London Dry, a house tonic syrup, lemon and soda; the Spice Orange combines Seedlip Citrus with fresh lime, orange and ginger beer; and the house VASO G&T is offered zero-proof with Seedlip Garden, bergamot, lavender, juniper and tonka bean over sparkling Mediterranean tonic. The bar opens at 4pm on weekdays and 2pm on Saturdays.

DogTap is BrewDog's flagship United States brewery and taproom, on Gender Road in Canal Winchester at the south-eastern edge of the Columbus metro. It matters to non-alcoholic drinkers because BrewDog brews its alcohol-free beer in-house rather than buying it in: the taproom pours the brewery's own sub-0.5% ABV range, including the Juice Club line made with real fruit juice in Citrus Crush, Raspberry Tart, Lime and Pineapple Breeze. The site runs brewery tours, a kitchen and dog-friendly patios. It should be said that BrewDog's Columbus footprint contracted sharply in 2026: the company was sold to Tilray, and its Short North and Franklinton taprooms both closed abruptly in March that year. DogTap and the New Albany location remained open, along with the bar inside John Glenn airport.

Soul is the ground-floor bar and restaurant of Le Méridien Columbus, The Joseph, on North High Street in the Short North, open from 6am for breakfast through to late. Its cocktail programme is built around a research-led list called the Lost Cocktails of Columbus, which revives drinks tied to the city's own bar history — the Deshler, the Kahiki Coffee Grog and the Midwestern Negroni among them. A separate printed section headed ZERO-PROOF BEVERAGES carries four built drinks rather than a list of sodas: the Casablanca Fog and the Lawn Dart, both made with Garden Spirit, kiwi, kefir and agave; an Orange Blossom of Lyre's non-alcoholic gin with house orange cordial and New Orleans N/A bitters; and an Old Old Fashioned using Lyre's non-alcoholic whiskey with ginger and non-alcoholic orange bitters.

The Guild House is Cameron Mitchell Restaurants' farm-to-table dining room on North High Street in the Short North, and was awarded One Michelin Key in 2024. Its beverage menu carries a printed section headed ZERO PROOF, which is what separates it from the many Columbus restaurants that will improvise something on request. The section runs six deep: Mionetto alcohol-removed sparkling wine from the Veneto by the glass or bottle, an Orange Spritz built on a spiritless aperitif and the same Mionetto, a Citrus Ginger made with Seedlip Grove 42, lime and candied ginger, a Blackberry Smash of blackberries, pomegranate and fresh citrus, an Espresso No-Tini using Lyre's coffee originale with fresh espresso, brown sugar and cinnamon, and a rotating Athletic Brewing non-alcoholic beer. Prices sit between $7 and $11.

Comune is a plant-based — and very nearly vegan — restaurant on Parsons Avenue in Schumacher Place, working a spare Scandinavian dining room and a seasonal, locally sourced menu under executive chef Zachery Riddle. It was named among Columbus Monthly's best restaurants in the city for 2025. The bar runs a root-to-stem cocktail programme alongside natural wine and herbal digestifs, and marks its non-alcoholic options directly on the printed menu: cocktails available zero-proof carry a degree symbol, currently the Vermouth + Tonic at $8, the Alta Highball at $10 and the Comune Sour at $14. Beneath them sit house-made sodas at $6 — lemon and ginger, blueberry and cardamom shrub, or charred pineapple shrub — plus Casamara Club amaro soda and Good Liar, the non-alcoholic IPA brewed in Columbus.

High Bank Distillery Co. is a working distillery with a full pub attached, established in 2017 on Goodale Boulevard in Grandview Yard. It takes its name from the high bank above the fork of the Scioto and Olentangy rivers, and produces bourbon, rye, gin, vodka and apple brandy on site alongside a modern American kitchen serving lunch, dinner, brunch and late night. Unusually for a distillery pub, it keeps non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu year-round rather than only through Dry January: local coverage currently names a non-alcoholic mule, the blackberry-purée Berry Burlesque, a Cinnamon Apple and Wings Over Ohio, with earlier menus carrying a Beachside Coffee of cold brew, honey syrup, blood orange and citrus and a cranberry-vanilla Lost Jewel. The list rotates seasonally.

Law Bird is the Brewery District cocktail bar opened in November 2019 by married owners Annie Williams Pierce and Luke Pierce, both career bartenders; in 2017 Williams Pierce became the first woman to win the United States Bartenders Guild's Most Imaginative Bartender competition in London. The bar was a 2025 James Beard Foundation semifinalist for Outstanding Bar and has been named among the best bars in the United States by Food & Wine. Columbus Underground readers voted it the city's best non-alcoholic drink menu in the 2025 Best of Columbus poll. Roughly three new cocktail menus are released a year, each carrying named N/A cocktails alongside the full-proof list, and most specialty cocktails can be built without alcohol at a reduced price. Non-alcoholic beer comes from Athletic Brewing and Best Day.

Lincoln Social Rooftop is a Cameron Mitchell bar on the ninth floor of 711 North High Street in the Short North, with a retractable roof, a fire pit and skyline views. It is a 21-and-over room. The cocktail menu is organised into four bands — Bold & Boozy, Easy Drinking, Sessions: Low ABV and Classics — and one of them, headed Spiritless, is entirely non-alcoholic. That list runs eight deep and is built rather than poured: a Mean & Green of serrano, celery, agave, cilantro and lime; No Secrets, which combines Töst sparkling tea with Giffard aperitif and lemon; an Espresso & Tonic; and a Blueberry Iced Tea infused with earl grey. Alongside them sit Mionetto alcohol-removed sparkling by glass or bottle, Best Day Brewing's Electro Lime and Good Liar's Midwest IPA, the non-alcoholic beer brewed in Columbus.

Goodale Station is the twelfth-floor rooftop bar and restaurant of the Canopy by Hilton Columbus Downtown Short North, on Nationwide Boulevard between downtown and the Short North. The room is glass-enclosed with outdoor terraces on either side, which keeps it usable year-round rather than seasonally. Its alcohol-free drinks are treated as part of the regular list and, according to local coverage, sell like it: the Don't Carrot All and the Berry Manilow are described as bestsellers of the season rather than as accommodations. Alongside the named AF cocktails the bar keeps a rotating range of shrubs — vinegar-based drinks built from fruit, herbs and sugar, sweet and sharp at once — which change through the year. Brunch runs at weekends from 11am and the bar stays open to 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.

How we know a Columbus bar has NA beer
Three kinds of evidence put a venue on this page, and each card says which. The strongest is a menu we've read: the exact beers, the price where the menu prints one, and the date we confirmed it. Next are breweries — a brewery is in this directory because it pours non-alcoholic beer, often its own. Last are venues whose own menu or copy names a specific NA brand they carry. Nothing here is inferred from a review or a vague “great NA selection”.
“Non-alcoholic” is a legal band, not a promise of zero: under 0.5% ABV in the US, with “alcohol-free” reserved for 0.0%. The big lagers (Heineken 0.0, Guinness 0.0) are labeled 0.0%; most craft NA beers sit somewhere under 0.5%. We name the brand wherever the venue does so you can check the label that matters to you.
Draft NA beer is spreading but still uncommon, so we never assume it. A pour is marked “on draft” only when the venue's menu says tap or draft; everything else should be read as cans or bottles.
Frequently asked about non-alcoholic beer in Columbus
We've verified 10 places in Columbus with non-alcoholic beer: Marcella's, VASO Rooftop Lounge, BrewDog DogTap Columbus and more below. 7 list it on a menu we've read line by line; the rest are breweries, or venues that name a specific NA beer brand they carry. Every listing shows when we last checked.
Usually not quite. In the US, beer labeled "non-alcoholic" must be under 0.5% ABV — a trace level also found in some ripe fruit and kombucha — while "alcohol-free" means 0.0%. Most craft NA beers (Athletic, Best Day, Untitled Art) sit between 0.0% and 0.5%; Heineken 0.0 and Guinness 0.0 are labeled 0.0%. Rules differ abroad: in the UK "alcohol-free" is 0.05% or under and "de-alcoholised" up to 0.5%. If you avoid alcohol entirely, look for a 0.0% label — we name the brand wherever the venue does, so you can check.
Draft NA beer is still the exception: most bars serve it in cans or bottles, and that is what to expect. We flag "on draft" only when a venue's own menu says tap or draft — none of the current Columbus listings has a menu-confirmed draft pour yet. If a listing doesn't say draft, assume packaged.
On the Columbus menus and listings we've verified, the most-carried brands are Athletic Brewing (4 venues), Best Day Brewing (2 venues), Go Brewing (1 venue). Each brand on this page links to everywhere else it is poured.
