    Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co.

    Blaine

NA Program Strength: 5 of 5?

The Blaine branch of Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. opened on Central Avenue NE with a grand opening on 15 December 2024, the chain's second Minnesota location after Little Canada. It serves no alcohol and runs to 1am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which makes it one of the few late rooms in the northern suburbs that is not a bar. Qamaria's coffees are organised around how different Yemeni villages prepare them, so the menu lists Mufawaar, Juban and qishr — the spiced drink brewed from coffee husks — by name rather than by roast level, alongside Aden tea, a cardamom-and-cinnamon house latte, pistachio lattes, refreshers and smoothies.

Order: Adeni chai · Mufawaar · Juban

    Hours: Mon-Thu 8am-11pm; Fri-Sun 8am-1am

It is fully alcohol-free and open until 1am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The menu is the Qamaria standard: qishr brewed from coffee husks with ginger and cinnamon, Mufawaar with cardamom and cream, Juban, Aden tea, and a house latte spiced with cardamom and cinnamon, alongside pistachio lattes, an espresso list, refreshers and smoothies. Pistachio milk cake, honeycomb bread and Dubai chocolate anchor the pastry counter. The room is set up for long sittings rather than quick pickups, with large tables and no closing-time pressure until well after most Eden Prairie restaurants have shut for the night.

    Parlour

    North Loop

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Parlour is a craft cocktail and burger bar in Minneapolis's North Loop, opened in 2013 below sister restaurant Borough by the local restaurant group Jester Concepts. Originally conceived as a waiting room for the upstairs dining room, it became a destination in its own right, known for the cult-favorite Parlour Burger and a serious classics-forward cocktail program built on fresh-squeezed juice, house-made syrups, and bitters. The bar maintains a dedicated "Non-Alcoholic Cocktails" section rather than a single token mocktail, using NA spirits alongside the same botanical and bitter techniques as its full bar. Named zero-proof builds include the NA Parlour Old Fashioned (NA bourbon, NA spiced spirit, piloncillo, bitters), a Phony Negroni, a Gin & Apricot Sour (thyme, lemon, apricot jam, egg white), and a Perfect Matcha made with an NA botanical spirit. It sits among the North Loop's marquee craft-cocktail venues.

It serves no alcohol at all and stays open until midnight seven nights a week, which makes it an evening room rather than a morning coffee stop. Coffee is imported directly from Yemen and roasted on the premises. The menu keeps a full Yemeni Style Coffee and Tea section alongside the espresso bar: Sana'ani, Jubani, Mofawar, Rada'ey and Qishr are all listed by their regional names, and the Adeni Chai is built on Yemeni black tea with cardamom, nutmeg and milk. Sabayah and other Yemeni pastries are sold at the counter.

    Zen Room Kava Lounge

    Downtown St. Paul

NA Program Strength: 5 of 5?

Zen Room Kava Lounge is widely cited as Minnesota's first kava bar, a fully alcohol-free social space on West Kellogg Boulevard in downtown St. Paul. Rather than coffee or cocktails, the lounge is built around ethically sourced specialty kava — the calming Pacific-island root beverage — plus nootropic and hemp-derived botanical drinks, traditional teas, and snacks. It positions itself as a calm, mindful place to gather, read, or connect, marketing kava as "a social beverage without a next-day hangover," which makes it a genuine fit for sober and sober-curious guests. The menu blends prepared kava drinks served in traditional shells and bowls with espresso-style and tea options, plus sugar-free and dairy-free preparations and build-your-own blends. Haraz Coffee House

    Lyndale

NA Program Strength: 5 of 5?

Haraz Coffee House is a Yemeni coffeehouse at the corner of Lyndale and Lake, the first Minnesota location of a Dearborn, Michigan chain. It opened in July 2026 in the large corner room that had been the Iron Door Pub, and later Cause Spirits and Soundbar, until that bar closed in March 2025 — so a liquor-licensed room has become one that pours no alcohol at all. The menu is split into Traditional Drinks, Espresso Bar, and Coffee and Other. The traditional column carries Harazi Mufawar, Adeni and Karak chai, Maleki, Jubani, Sana'ani and Qishr; the espresso bar is anchored by the Haraz Latte, built with honey and the house haraz spice blend.

    Bar + Cart

    Macalester-Groveland, St. Paul

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

Bar + Cart Restaurant and Lounge opened in the former Khyber Pass Cafe space on Grand Avenue in St. Paul's Macalester-Groveland neighborhood, a partnership between longtime collaborators Ralena Young and Brian Riess. Young, an accomplished Twin Cities beverage director, anchors a serious drink program — and that extends to one of the metro's deepest zero-proof lists. The "Free Spirit" menu currently runs six house non-alcoholic cocktails spanning smoky to sweet — White Fox (coconut water, orange blossom, banana, egg white, cherry-bark vanilla), Up In Smoke (coconut water, grapefruit, jalapeño, basil, smoked salt), Hibiscus Punch, Fruit of the Desert, Devil in the Garden, and Lucky Me — alongside bottled St. Agrestis Phony Negronis in both the classic and mezcal styles. Axios Twin Cities named it the most expansive non-alcoholic list in its January 2026 Dry January roundup. The food leans elevated-comfort, from Coney Island dogs to fresh oysters.

Order: White Fox (coconut water, orange blossom water, banana, egg white, lemon, cherry bark vanilla) · Up In Smoke (coconut water, grapefruit, jalapeño, basil, lime, smoked salt) · Hibiscus Punch (hibiscus flowers, winter spices, citrus peel)

    Hours: Mon-Thu 3pm-11pm; Fri-Sat 3pm-12am; Sun closed

    CrowBar

    Dayton's Bluff

NA Program Strength: 4 of 5?

CrowBar is the cocktail lounge and tasting room for Voliere Spirits, an all-women-owned distillery that opened in December 2025 in the former blacksmith shop of the historic Hamm's Brewery complex in Dayton's Bluff. Grete Bergland leads the drinks programme, and the zero-proof column is built with the same culinary approach as the rest of the list and priced at $8 — a flat rate across every non-alcoholic drink. The builds are savoury as often as sweet: one runs roasted strawberry and tomato with balsamic and champagne vinegar, caper, basil, aquafaba and prosciutto; another is charred citrus with baking spices, rosemary, lemon and soda water. House-made French and Italian sodas sit alongside.

Order: Once she asked me how to spell 'ORANGE' (orange, oat milk, vanilla, lemon, frozen Greek yogurt balls) · Like...if I were wearing sweatpants today, I'd be sitting over there with the art freaks (roasted strawberry and tomato, balsamic and champagne vinegar, caper, basil, aquafaba, prosciutto) · I was half a virgin when I met him... (charred citrus, baking spices, rosemary, lemon, soda water)

Hours: Mon closed; Tue-Thu 5pm-11pm; Fri 4pm-11pm; Sat 2pm-12am; Sun closed

How this page decides what counts

Three facts, all verified, all required. The venue has to rate at least 4 of 5 for its non-alcoholic program — a fully alcohol-free room, or a licensed venue with a strong named zero-proof list, the same floor our Minneapolis sober bars page uses. It has to be somewhere you can sit, so bottle shops are out. And its hours have to run past midnight on at least one night, which is what makes this a nightlife page rather than a second copy of the sober bars list: at that cut a restaurant with a good zero-proof menu drops out, and the bars, lounges, kava bars and late coffeehouses remain.

“No alcohol served” is written on a card only when the venue's own verified description says so — never inferred from a rating or a name. Everything else here is a bar with a real non-alcoholic program, and it is labelled as a bar. Hours are the venue's live listing, re-synced weekly; the drinks on each venue page were read off its current menu and carry the date we last confirmed them.
