Delbar — Farsi for "heart, captured" — is a Persian and Middle Eastern restaurant opened in Inman Park in May 2020 by owner Fares Kargar. The flagship sits in the Inman Quarter development and has grown into a small Atlanta group with additional locations in Buckhead and Old Milton; the restaurant is recognized in the MICHELIN Guide. The food leans on shared mezze, kebabs, and family recipes rooted in Iranian cooking. For non-drinkers, Delbar maintains a real, named zero-proof section on its beverage menu rather than generic sodas. Signature options include the Sharbat e Zereshk, a barberry-and-lime sharbat described as tropical and refreshing, and an Iced Coconut Chai Tea built on Persian tea and ginger. The NA program is house-made and culturally grounded in Persian sharbat tradition — a smaller, curated list at a full-service restaurant.
