Gemini Room is a groovy, '70s-inspired all-day café and bar that opened in December 2022 in Capitol Hill's Chophouse Row, created by a trio of nightlife veterans alongside the Chophouse Row business family. Women- and LGBTQIA+-owned, it serves coffee by day and cocktails by night, and is regularly cited in EverOut's Dry January roundups for its playful, sophisticated zero-proof drinks.
The dedicated mocktail menu runs about nine named drinks, including the Fancy Shirley (Toschi cherry syrup, lemon-lime soda), the Ube Orange Cream Soda, the Clear Sky Sour, Everyone Loves a Rickey, a Crodino Spritz, and a Pathfinder Espresso Tonic built on Pathfinder Hemp & Root. Athletic Brewing's Upside Dawn NA golden ale, Casamara Club botanical sodas and CBD sodas round out the alcohol-free options.
