Life on Mars is a plant-based (vegan) cocktail bar and restaurant on Capitol Hill, known for craft cocktails served alongside a 6,000-record vinyl wall, late-night dining and weekend brunch. It has become a notable Seattle destination for inclusive drinking, giving its non-alcoholic program a prime spot on the main cocktail menu rather than burying it.
The NA/low-ABV list is built largely around Pathfinder, and includes named drinks such as the Pathfinder Spritz, High Violet (Pathfinder, Almave Ambar, NA bitters, blueberry coffee syrup), Mesmerize (black-pepper-infused Pathfinder, lemon Lapsang oleo, NA bitters), a Pathfinder Negroni, Two of Hearts (NA aperitif, sparkling wine, passionfruit, grapefruit) and a Mindful Boilermaker pairing an NA IPA with Pathfinder NA amaro. The bar also runs "N/A in the Mix," a non-alcoholic drinks event on the last Wednesday of each month, and uses Giffard aperitif in some builds.
