Han's Kombucha — the house booch poured throughout the taproom — has been voted Utah's Best Kombucha three years running, and the draft list rotates through staples like Ginger Hibiscus, Grapefruit Rosemary, Pineapple Cactus Nectar, Raspberry Rose and White Peach Champagne, plus a taproom-only Brewer's Pick. The 5,300-square-foot space, decorated in a warm modern-southwestern style with a dog-friendly patio, also hosts yoga, co-working and local-artist events, making it a genuine community hub rather than just a bar.
The non-alcoholic program is a deliberate centerpiece: City Cast Salt Lake's mocktail guide singles the taproom out, noting that many of the NA drinks include the house-made kombucha — and that you can order a whole kombucha flight.
The zero-proof cocktails run under their own heading, "Free Your Spirits", with a line on the menu confirming that every drink in the section is non-alcoholic. Eight builds sit there: the HK Spritz of N/A gin, honey, pineapple and red apple rhubarb kombucha at $11; the Persephone of N/A bourbon, pomegranate, honey and ginger hibiscus kombucha and the Talk to the Peach of N/A Aperol, peach, lemon, pomegranate and white peach champagne kombucha, both $12; the Bloody Maria of N/A tequila, lemon, green onion, tomato and soda and the Razzle Dazzle of clementine, raspberry and Woody’s N/A prosecco, both $14; the Dirty Earl of cold brew, Earl Grey, lavender and oat milk at $6; a $3 Holy Trinity shooter of ginger, lemon and pineapple; and a bartender’s-choice FAFO Roulette at $13. That is a longer non-alcoholic list than most cocktail bars carry, and it is priced at or below the alcoholic equivalents rather than at a premium.
Han’s Kombucha itself pours at $6 for a 16oz draft or $10 for a flight, and there are further non-alcoholic options beyond the house brand: a rotating Athletic Brewing beer and a rotating Original Sin cider at $6, and Woody’s N/A sparkling prosecco by the glass at $10. Cans and growlers of Han’s are available to take home. The taproom does serve full spirits, beer and wine alongside all of this, so it is a mixed room rather than a dry one, but a non-drinker can order across the whole evening without falling back on soda.
“I've always enjoyed the NA drinks here because a lot of them include the yummy house made kombucha. You can even go crazy and do a whole kombucha flight.”— Terina Ria, City Cast Salt LakeCity Cast Salt Lake, "The Best Mocktails in Salt Lake," 2025 →
