Listen Bar is a pioneering New York alcohol-free bar that launched in October 2018 as a five-day proof-of-concept pop-up in South Williamsburg, founded by former brand and innovation consultant Lorelei Bandrovschi. Operating under the motto "all bar, no booze," it pairs an entirely alcohol-free craft cocktail menu with a crew of bartenders who are all musicians and curate the night's playlists, and roughly two-thirds of its guests identify as drinkers. Widely credited as the alcohol-free bar that helped start the modern sober-curious movement — with coverage from the Today Show, Good Morning America, the New York Times, and VICE — Listen Bar has no fixed walk-in address and instead pops up across NYC venues from basement dives to rooftop lounges (and internationally, including Lisbon), while also running cocktail classes, private events, and the annual Good AF Awards. Alongside its house drinks it has poured non-alcoholic options from brands including Seedlip, Kin Euphorics, and Curious Elixirs.
