9028 Garland Rd, Dallas, TX 75218

Lounge Here occupies a strip on Garland Road in the Casa Linda / White Rock stretch of East Dallas, next door to the beloved Good Records store. It was opened by Julie Doyle and Tim DeLaughter — the husband-and-wife team behind Tripping Daisy and The Polyphonic Spree — and leans hard into a retro, Marfa-tinged '70s airport-lounge look: plush banquettes, moody lighting, and a large photo mural by Rainer Judd. The kitchen turns out Southern-inspired shareable plates (deviled eggs, pimento cheese, shrimp and grits) alongside the drinks program.

For non-drinkers, the lounge stocks a real set of alcohol-free options rather than a lone soft drink. It pours canned Athletic non-alcoholic beer and carries HOP WTR — a sparkling water pitched as an IPA-style sip without alcohol, spiked with the adaptogens ashwagandha and L-Theanine and offered in Blood Orange and Mango. On the cocktail side, the bar makes named zero-proof builds; the recurring favorite is Memaw's Apple Pie, a blend of apple cider, cinnamon syrup, lemon, and ginger ale, and a Paisley Daisy built on a Ritual Zero Proof tequila alternative with lime, agave, and orange juice.

Day to day it works as a neighborhood happy-hour and dinner spot — happy hour runs late afternoon, with a Sunday brunch — and its cocktail-lounge identity means the NA drinks are shaken and built to order rather than pulled from a fountain. That makes it a workable option for sober and sober-curious guests who want an actual crafted drink in a stylish room, though the alcohol-free list is a handful of items rather than a full dedicated menu.
