Shades opened its Ballpark brewpub in April 2025 inside Salt Lake City's renovated "Engine Block" building, scaling up from the company's roots in a tiny Park City garage. The space combines on-site brewing, around 50 taps, and a full "elevated" kitchen.
The non-alcoholic side is a dedicated mocktail program under the "Stripped" name rather than an in-house non-alcoholic beer, anchored by the Stripped Geared Mule that the Salt Lake Tribune singled out as a standout. The taproom went through a 2025 landlord dispute and a temporary closure before resuming operations, so it's worth confirming hours before a visit.
