The Gin Joint sits at 182 East Bay Street in Charleston's French Quarter and has operated since 2010 as one of the city's first dedicated craft cocktail bars. Its drink program is built around fresh ingredients, house syrups, teas, and herbs, and it runs on a no-reservations, walk-in model.
For non-drinkers, the bar lists named no-ABV mocktails including the "European Outlaw" (tea, raspberry, thyme, and ginger), "New Beginnings," and "The Unknown Coast." Its well-known "Bartender's Choice" can also be made zero-proof on request, letting alcohol-free guests get the same custom, made-to-order treatment as the cocktail list.
