Wyrd Sisters Taphouse & Brewery

Wyrd Sisters opened in the Park Circle neighborhood of North Charleston in December 2024, the project of Thad Wellington and Brittany Slechter, who met at Frothy Beard's Summerville taproom, along with Jess Wellington. The space carries a punk-metal aesthetic and an explicitly inclusive ethos where, as the owners describe it, flavor comes first and style is an afterthought.

Beyond house brews and outsourced guest drafts, the menu deliberately makes room for people who aren't drinking: meads, wine, non-alcoholic brews and alcohol alternatives are part of the lineup. The non-alcoholic selection complements the beer program rather than functioning as a dedicated zero-proof concept, but it is a documented, intentional offering.
