Time Out Market Boston is a 27,000-square-foot curated food hall in the Fenway neighborhood, launched in 2019 by Time Out Media as the U.S. expansion of a concept the publication first opened in Lisbon in 2014, where editors hand-select the city's best chefs and eateries under the motto "if it's great, it goes in the Market." The space gathers more than a handful of eateries, two bars, a demo cooking area and over 6,000 square feet of patio at 401 Park Drive, in the heart of the buzzing Fenway district near Fenway Park. Its central bar maintains a dedicated alcohol-free program, with house-made-syrup mocktails always available on request and an expanded seasonal menu that the team spotlights during Dry January. Confirmed non-alcoholic builds include the Vanilla Fig Cooler (Q Grapefruit Soda with fig-peppercorn and vanilla syrups), the Blackberry Ginger Fizz (Q Ginger Beer with blackberry-ginger syrup and lime), the Winter Warm Spell (pineapple juice, coconut cream, jalapeno syrup and alcohol-free bitters) and Lavender Lights (lavender syrup, lemonade and a soda splash). Beyond the mocktail list, the bar pours non-alcoholic options including Sam Adams "Just The Haze" NA beer, TOST Rose, kombucha, Culture Pop, root beer and cream soda. The program is driven by assistant general manager and mixologist Meghan Murphy, who emphasizes house-made syrups and flavor first and says "there's no reason to miss out on the fun just due to alcohol." The market is open daily for early-to-late dining, making it a flexible, low-pressure spot for an alcohol-free night out in Boston.
