Wild

Wild — stylized "W!ld" — is a Bali- and Southeast Asia-inspired coffee bar, cocktail lounge, and legal hemp dispensary at 2121 N. Shepherd Drive in Houston's Heights, opened in February 2022 by cousins Adyson and Andrew Alvis. The plant-filled space runs as a specialty coffee bar by day, pouring beans roasted in collaboration with Heights-based Tenfold Coffee, and turns at night into a full bar plus a "Bud Bar" in-house dispensary stocked with legal, hemp-derived CBD products — tinctures, gummies, flower, and pre-rolls — carrying THC at 0.3% or under.

Alongside standard beer, wine, and cocktails, Wild built its drink program around hemp-infused elixirs created by Laurie Harvey and Kris Sowell of Ladies of Libation, with Kevin Dikdan serving as food and beverage director for Wild Concepts. The alcohol-free cocktails can, if you wish, be combined with either alcohol or CBD — but not both, as the venue does not mix CBD with alcohol. Named non-alcoholic options include the Pink Loco (raspberry, coconut, citrus, mint, 20mg full-spectrum CBD), the coffee-based Skywalker OG (in-house vanilla syrup infused with 20mg full-spectrum CBD), the Marfa Days (hibiscus, Topo Chico, citrus, a house blend of mixed tropical fruits, "electric dust," sea salt, and 20mg full-spectrum CBD), and the Orange Crush.

A second Wild location in Montrose has since closed — the company's own Locations page now lists that address as closed. As of mid-2026 the original Heights flagship remains open daily from 8am to midnight.
