WLVS Den Kava Lounge is a fully alcohol-free, Star Trek-themed kava bar in the Spring Valley/Southwest area of Las Vegas at 5447 S Rainbow Blvd E7. Billing itself as "Nevada's only licensed kava bar" and the "unofficial Las Vegas Star Trek headquarters," it serves traditional Pacific Island kava in shells, quads, jugs and Tanoa bowls alongside botanical specialty teas and functional, non-alcoholic mocktails (no alcohol is served). The venue is the current branding of the lounge that originally launched in 2019 as 9th Island Kava Lounge at this same address; it now operates as WLVS Den Kava. It positions itself as a safe, relaxing space for socializing and celebrating sobriety, hosting monthly Star Trek watch parties, live music, board games and karaoke. Open daily from noon (until midnight Sun-Thu and 2 AM Fri-Sat), with a daily 3-6 PM happy hour offering half-off shells and teas.
