FaceClock Zero-Proof Lounge & Gallery is a fully alcohol-free spot near Philadelphia's Fishtown/Olde Kensington border, billed as the city's first zero-proof lounge. It was founded by Anastasia Farber, a former bartender who used her mixology background to build a place where people could socialize and "not be forced to have a drink in their hand." Old City Kava Company is a fully alcohol-free kava and kratom lounge that opened in December 2025 at 40 S. 2nd Street in Philadelphia's historic Old City. Founded by Luca Kobza and Adam Lagner, the 1,900-square-foot space is built as a bar alternative for the sober-curious, with roughly 60 seats across a bar, two-tops, and jewel-toned couches, a small board-game collection, and rotating contemporary art for sale. Assembly is the rooftop lounge on top of the Logan Hotel, looking across Logan Square to the Art Museum and the Parkway, and it runs to two in the morning on Friday and Saturday. Its menu carries a printed section headed "Non-Alcoholic Imbibements" — a deliberately unapologetic name for a category usually labelled as an afterthought. Charlie was a sinner. is an all-vegan cocktail bar and small-plates restaurant in Philadelphia's Midtown Village, opened in 2014 by Nicole Marquis, the restaurateur behind the HipCityVeg and Bar Bombón plant-based ventures. R&D is a craft cocktail bar in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood, opened in October 2018 in the former Root Restaurant & Wine Bar space at 1206 Frankford Avenue. Flight Club is a social darts venue on Walnut Street, and it carries the deepest named non-alcoholic beer list found anywhere in Philadelphia: five, all priced and named — Sam Adams Just the Haze, Athletic's Cerveza Atlética, Lagunitas IPNA, Sierra Nevada Hop Splash and Guinness 0. Post Haste is a farm-to-glass cocktail bar and restaurant that opened in June 2023 at 2519 Frankford Ave in Philadelphia's East Kensington neighborhood, led by beverage director Fred Beebe and director of operations Gabe Guerrero. Its defining conceit is hyper-regional sourcing: every spirit, beer, wine, herb, and mixer comes from east of the Mississippi River. Haraz Coffee House (Fishtown)

Haraz Coffee House's Fishtown room opened in October 2025 as the chain's second Philadelphia location, and it trades until midnight from Thursday through Saturday — genuinely late for a room that serves no alcohol at all. The menu is the traditional Yemeni repertoire: jubani made from coffee and the husk of the coffee cherry with cinnamon and ginger, qishr brewed from the husk alone, harazi mufawar with cardamom and cream, and sana'ani, a black coffee with cardamom. The tea side runs to adeni karak chai with the house haraz spice blend and cream, and a saffron version of the same. The Philadelphia Inquirer has covered the city's Yemeni coffeehouse boom repeatedly, describing these rooms as spaces without alcohol or reservations.

A La Mousse is a Chinatown dessert cafe and tea house that opens at noon and runs to eleven at night, midnight on Friday and Saturday, with no alcohol on the premises at any point. Shibam Coffee opened on Lancaster Avenue in West Philadelphia on the first Friday of Ramadan in February 2026, the first Philadelphia site for a Yemeni chain that runs thirteen locations nationally. It trades until midnight on Friday and Saturday and ten every other night, and its Instagram bio states plainly that everything on the menu is halal. The drinks are the Yemeni canon done properly: jubani made with coffee and coffee-cherry husks served with cardamom, ginger and cinnamon; adeni, a Yemeni black tea with cardamom, nutmeg and milk; mofawar, coffee with cardamom and cream; the house Shibam coffee, a light roast with husks, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon and cream; and a Saudi coffee with cardamom and saffron. Bolo is chef Yun Fuentes's Latin American dining room and rum bar in Rittenhouse Square, open since 2023 at 2025 Sansom Street. The bi-level, vividly colorful space draws on Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Dominican cuisine and is named for Fuentes's grandfather, Juan "Bolo" Fuentes; the chef was a 2024 James Beard Awards semifinalist for Best Emerging Chef. Char & Stave is an all-day cafe and cocktail bar in Ardmore, opened March 21, 2022 by Jared Adkins, owner and master distiller of Phoenixville's Bluebird Distilling, with head distiller Scott Gilbert. The concept — "coffee made by whiskey people" — uses Bluebird's spent bourbon barrels to age coffee beans, drawing vanilla, caramel, and spice notes into the roast. The Twisted Tail is a Southern-leaning whiskey bar and live-music room on Headhouse Square, and its zero-proof drinks are unusual in reaching for the serious end of the non-alcoholic aperitif market rather than for syrups. The Zero Proof Ginger Spritz at $13 is built on Ghia, the bitter Mediterranean aperitivo whose gentian and elderflower give it genuine astringency. It has to be somewhere you can sit, so bottle shops are out. And its hours have to run past midnight on at least one night, which is what makes this a nightlife page rather than a second copy of the sober bars list: at that cut a restaurant with a good zero-proof menu drops out, and the bars, lounges, kava bars and late coffeehouses remain.
“No alcohol served” is written on a card only when the venue's own verified description says so — never inferred from a rating or a name. Everything else here is a bar with a real non-alcoholic program, and it is labelled as a bar. Hours are the venue's live listing, re-synced weekly; the drinks on each venue page were read off its current menu and carry the date we last confirmed them.

A named drink built on a real non-alcoholic spirit (Seedlip, Lyre's, Ritual, Pathfinder and the like) is a different thing from a soda with fruit in it, and it is priced and served like a cocktail. If the list has changed since we checked, ask what the bar is making that week rather than for "a mocktail".
It is an honest one. The venues marked "no alcohol served" are rooms where nobody at the next table is drinking either, and for many people that is the only kind of night out that works. The licensed venues are bars — good ones for a non-drinker, but bars — and the page says so plainly rather than blurring the two. Choose by the label, not the name.
