Abigail Hall is a 40-seat cocktail bar and gathering place on the ground floor of the Woodlark Hotel in downtown Portland. The room occupies what was originally the Ladies Reception Hall of the former Cornelius Hotel (built circa 1907–1908), and the bar is named after Abigail Scott Duniway, the Oregon women's-rights advocate and suffragist. Its design leans into that history, with a fireplace, a reproduction of the building's early-1910s penny-tile floors and green wainscot walls, leather banquettes, and hand-painted murals by local artist Michael Paulus. It opened in late 2018 as part of the Woodlark and also offers a weekend high-tea service.
The non-alcoholic program is a genuine focus rather than an afterthought, and Abigail Hall keeps a rotating slate of intricate, well-garnished zero-proof drinks alongside its cocktail list. Veteran mixologist Jared Wegner builds the spirit-free menu around NA spirits and the deep flavors of coffee and tea. Recent and signature no-proof drinks include the Oolong Goodbye (Pathfinder NA spirit, oolong syrup, lemon), the Sanbitter Spritz (Sanbitter NA aperitif, grapefruit, ginger beer), the Rossellini Soda (pomegranate-honey or roasted-peach syrup, soda, vanilla cold foam), and the Spiritless Veil (Wilderton citrus, hibiscus, lime).
