Blood Brothers Brewing

Blood Brothers Brewing is a craft brewery and taproom on Geary Avenue in Toronto's Geary Avenue Arts District, set inside a renovated hundred-year-old horse stable with indoor seating and a seasonal patio. The taproom pours from up to 26 taps spanning lagers and pilsners, hazy and double dry-hopped IPAs, sour and funky ales, and a dry Irish stout on nitro, alongside a retail bottle shop for takeaway cans. The kitchen runs a Southern comfort food program, smoking meats in-house over oak staves pulled from the brewery's own spent beer barrels. The taproom is open Sunday through Thursday from noon to 11pm and Friday and Saturday from noon until late.

Blood Brothers also brews and cans its own dedicated non-alcoholic beer line, sold through a standalone "Non-alc" collection on the brewery's own site as well as in the taproom. Zero is a 0.5% ABV non-alcoholic IPA brewed with Citra and HBC-638 hops, described by the brewery as carrying citrus and stone-fruit aromas, very low bitterness and an exceptionally smooth finish. The Paradise Lost non-alcoholic sours, also 0.5% ABV, come in several fruited variants: a Spiced Cherry version fermented on cherry and aged on a blend of spices, with flavors likened to homemade cherry pie and mulled wine; a Blackberry Crumble version that leans heavier on berry with hints of vanilla and graham on the aroma; and a Guava Pineapple version sold as a 473ml tall can. The NA lineup is corroborated independently on Untappd and by third-party retailer Collective Craft Beer Shop, beyond the brewery's own product listings.

The non-alcoholic program also has independent press notice: a June 2024 Narcity feature on Toronto breweries serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks singled out Blood Brothers, noting its non-alcoholic options are "equally as fun" as its beer, including a strawberry-kiwi lemonade sparkling water made in-house and "the occasional non-alcoholic craft beer."
