Boone & Crockett

Boone & Crockett is a cocktail bar on the west bank of the Milwaukee River in the Harbor District, operating under the tongue-in-cheek motto "Pretentious Drinks Without the Pretentiousness." It runs on a no-table-service model — guests order craft cocktails at the bar and food from the on-site Taco Moto truck — and shares its 818 S. Water St. address with its sister event venue, The Cooperage, with the Hoan Bridge as a backdrop.

What earns it a place in a non-alcoholic directory is a real, standing zero-proof program rather than an afterthought. Boone & Crockett publishes a dedicated mocktail menu of five named drinks: Backseat Bingo (grapefruit, lime, cane syrup and club soda), Cardinal Punch (muddled mint, cherry, lemon and cranberry), Stranger Danger (pineapple, orange and Top Note ginger beer), The Orange Care Bear, and the High N' Dry, which builds a spirit-free aperitivo from Giffard Non-Alcoholic Aperitif and Lagunitas Hop Refresher. Behind that sits a stocked NA bar including Guinness N/A, Athletic Lite and an Untitled Art sour, giving alcohol-free guests real range beyond a single token option.

The bar is also a fixture of Milwaukee's sober-curious calendar. Each Dry January it hosts the free after-party for N/A Day, the non-alcoholic beverage festival held next door at The Cooperage; the fifth annual edition ran on Jan. 3, 2026. The venue remains clearly active into mid-2026, with posted hours of Wednesday–Thursday 4 p.m.–2 a.m. and Friday–Sunday 3 p.m.–2 a.m., and local tourism coverage has singled it out for its "whimsically titled non-alcoholic cocktails."
