Elm & Good is the ground-floor restaurant and bar of the Kimpton Pittman Hotel, set inside the historic 1916 Knights of Pythias Temple on Elm Street in the heart of Deep Ellum. It opened in 2020 as a farm-to-table American tavern under founding chef Graham Dodds, with menus that spotlight Texas and Gulf Coast ingredients, sustainably ranched meats and produce from local farms. The kitchen is now led by executive chef JV Hernandez, and the room serves all-day brunch, a mid-afternoon Golden Hour and dinner daily.

The non-alcoholic angle here runs through the same seasonal cocktail list that drives the bar. Its headline zero-proof build is the Gingiberi Fizz — Seedlip Spice 42, ginger syrup, orange cordial, lemon, aquafaba and ginger beer — a properly shaken, egg-white-style foamed drink rather than a sweet mocktail. It sits alongside the Espresso Self, a spirit-free riff on the espresso martini, giving no-proof drinkers two considered options built on a real botanical distillate.

PaperCity Magazine featured Elm & Good in its Dallas Dry January mocktails guide, singling the tavern out for its zero-proof cocktail options. The bar is a comfortable fit for Deep Ellum visitors and hotel guests who want a genuine cocktail experience without the alcohol, in one of the neighborhood's most storied buildings.
