For non-drinkers navigating Dallas's nightlife, Ginger's is one of the few upscale cocktail lounges in the East Quarter that treats zero-proof options as a genuine part of the program rather than an afterthought. The bar's menu includes a dedicated N/A section — confirmed in both PaperCity (January 2024) and CultureMap (January 2025) — built around Three Spirit's botanical spirits, alongside the full range of classics. The setting itself is subterranean: a 1,200-square-foot room beneath a building that dates to Dallas's early Auto Row era, entered via a dramatic staircase and outfitted by local firm JonesBaker with leather U-shaped booths and a marble-topped walnut bar.

The three documented NA cocktails all lean on Three Spirit's functional botanical spirits: the Zen Level pairs Three Spirit Livener with lemongrass green tea syrup, lemon juice, and yuzu for a bright, aromatic pour; the Zenicillin riffs on a classic penicillin template with Three Spirit Nightcap, ginger syrup, and lemon; and the Ginger Collins uses Three Spirit Nightcap with a house gin-eric syrup, lemon, and soda for something effervescent and herbal. All three were priced at $14 as of January 2025. The bar program was originally created by Sean Kenyon, an award-winning mixologist and Tales of the Cocktail 2014 American Bartender of the Year; current menu development is led by Bar Lead Eric Simmons, who introduced the 2025 cocktail and dessert menus.

Ginger's operates without a reservation system for the lounge — walk-ins only, first-come on the booths — which means arriving early on weekends matters if you want a seat. The room fits roughly 50 people comfortably before it tips toward crowded. Valet is available on-site. The venue maintains a dress code (call ahead for current guidelines), but the Dallas Observer notes it leans toward 'come as you are' rather than strict enforcement. It earned Dallas Observer's Best Cocktail Bar award in 2025, making it a credible destination for anyone who wants a genuinely polished night out in Downtown Dallas, with or without alcohol.
