7151 Preston Rd Ste 111A, Frisco, TX 75034
Frisco Kava Bar sits in a Preston Road retail strip and organises its menu more like a bar than most kava rooms bother to. The blended Kava-Ladas come in mango, strawberry, piña colada, peach and mocha; a separate mocktail section carries the Kava-Rita, the Espresso Kavatini and The Frisco 75 — names that borrow directly from the cocktail canon, which is precisely the point for someone who misses ordering a drink rather than a beverage.
Behind those sit the raw preparations: traditional kava served plain, and a range of flavoured kratom teas. The house describes the whole list as 100% plant-based, and no alcohol is served on the premises at any time.
The caution is the same one we attach to every kava and kratom venue in this directory, and it is not a formality. Kava is a relaxant; kratom is an opioid-receptor-active plant with real dependency potential, and the menu restricts parts of itself to 21 and over for that reason. This is an alcohol-free room, which for many people who have stopped drinking is exactly the environment they want — but it is not a substance-free one, and anyone whose recovery covers all mood-altering substances should know that before walking in.
