Frisco Square is a walkable restaurant district built around the city hall plaza, and since January 2026 it has had an alcohol-free room keeping longer hours than most of its neighbours: Kava Culture opens at eight in the morning and runs to midnight, seven days a week. For a suburb where the evening options are overwhelmingly full-bar restaurants, that is a genuinely different proposition.

The menu is organised like a cocktail list rather than a health-food counter — sections titled Light & Fruity, Rich & Creamy and Tonics on the Rocks, with drinks named Miami Mule, Ocean Potion, Coastal Melon and Fijian Sunset. There is a Booze Free Flight that runs a piña colada, bellini, margarita and tiki mule in miniature, which is a smart way to spend an hour at a table without a drink in hand feeling like a compromise.

The disclosure this venue needs is the strongest in our Dallas listings, and we would rather over-state it than under-state it: alongside kava, the menu carries kratom, kanna and THC drinks, including a THC flight. Nothing served contains alcohol. But this is a psychoactive-botanical bar, not a sober bar, and for anyone in recovery from any substance — or anyone who simply wants a clear head — that distinction is the whole point.
