Mother's House is a woman-owned tattoo studio, coffee lounge, and mocktail bar tucked into Oak Lawn in Dallas, founded by tattoo artist Brieana Jones, who spent years sketching in coffee shops before building a space that married her two loves. The result is a fully alcohol-free venue: every guest is met by a non-alcoholic beverage and coffee lounge serving espresso-based drinks, teas, and mocktails, with seating in a whimsical striped-ceiling lounge or a green checkered patio. The studio runs six artists and is widely noted as a safe, judgment-free, LGBTQ+-welcoming space. Walk-ins are welcome Wednesday through Saturday. Because the venue pours zero alcohol by design, the coffee-and-mocktail bar is genuinely sober-first rather than a token NA list bolted onto an alcohol program.
