Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den is a hidden bar tucked inside Famous Foods Street Eats, the Singapore-style hawker hall at Resorts World Las Vegas, and finding it is deliberately part of the experience. The entrance sits behind the shelves of a small gift-and-sundries stall on the food-hall floor; guests check in with a hostess, who moves a bookshelf aside to let them through into a small, dark, Tokyo-inflected room. Drinks are the only thing served here — there is no food menu, which is unusual for a bar of this kind and is possible precisely because it sits in the middle of a food hall, so anything you want to eat is thirty seconds away. The mixology program takes Prohibition-era cocktail construction and filters it through a Singaporean sensibility, producing drinks like a Jerry Thomas Brandy Punch built with hibiscus and grenadine alongside house creations. On Fridays the room runs High Fidelity Fridays, a weekly all-vinyl series with DJs playing analog-based sets, and there is a disco bathroom hidden in plain sight for anyone who goes looking.

For a bar with no food and a concealed entrance, the handling of non-drinkers is better than it needs to be: zero-proof options are listed on the menu alongside the cocktails rather than left to be negotiated with a bartender, which is the difference between a bar that will accommodate you and a bar that expected you. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority's own guide to the city's must-try spirit-free drinks singles out the Invisible Ink, built from cold brew, orange, raspberry and CALPICO soda — the Japanese cultured-milk soft drink — which is a genuinely distinctive build rather than a juice with a garnish on it. Reservations are worth making, since the room is small and the entrance ritual depends on a hostess expecting you. It opens nightly at 6pm, running to midnight Sunday through Thursday and to 1am on Friday and Saturday, and the dress code is casual.
