Melrose Umbrella Co. is a craft cocktail bar that has anchored the Melrose shopping district in the Fairfax area since 2013, built around a post-Prohibition concept inside a layered, antique-furnished space that Time Out Los Angeles calls a reliable mainstay of the city's bar scene. The cocktail program leans on house-made tinctures, syrups, and tonics, and that same craft approach carries to a dedicated non-alcoholic menu of nine handcrafted mocktails, N/A beer, and canned options, including zero-proof builds made with Ritual Zero Proof spirits. The no-ABV menu grew out of an alcohol-free program rolled out across the Umbrella Hospitality group on New Year's Day 2023, making spirit-free guests an explicit part of the bar rather than an afterthought.
