Othership Adelaide

Othership Adelaide is an entirely alcohol-free sauna, ice bath and social club at 425 Adelaide St W in Toronto's Fashion District, just off King Street West. The circuit centers on what the venue calls Toronto's largest performance sauna, built from Western Red Cedar and heated to an average of 75–85°C, paired with eight individual cold-plunge ice baths kept between 0°C and 4°C. Non-gendered changing stalls and lockers, showers with body wash provided, and a shared social commons round out the space, which Othership describes as designed "to soothe the senses, from cedar-infused air to warm ambient lighting."

The club is booze-free by design rather than as an afterthought — no alcohol is served or permitted on site. Toronto Life featured Othership as a purpose-built answer to the King West bar scene, writing that it is "entirely booze free, and its late hours are intended to give King Street's nightlife revellers an alternative space to congregate." In practice that means staying open past 11pm most nights of the week — later than many of the bars just down the block.

Guests wind down in the tea lounge with Clover Botanicals Adaptogenic Tea, a blend built around valerian root and ashwagandha. It's complimentary to anyone using the space, and also sold on its own for $13, giving Othership a specific, ingredient-documented non-alcoholic pour rather than a generic herbal-tea afterthought.
